During the Middle Ages there were many people in society. First off there were the Kings who did not do much accept be kings, rule and make orders. Next were the Nobles who were in charge of the manor house and system. These people usually had very good jobs. Next were the knights who protected the people, castles, the manor and land for land and loyalty. Then comes the clergy the people who are a part of the church. These people spent most of their time praying and learning about the church. Next are the tradesmen who were people that traded and transported goods everywhere. These people were mostly men and had other descent jobs besides trading goods. Next were the peasants the peasants who were poor, worked for the manor and made just enough money to keep a good family running. Finally were the serfs, another form of peasants but had no respect could not move up in social class and had to work very hard to make money and food.
For clothing the men wore trousers and shirts except kings who wore robes and gown. Jewelry was a big part of your wealth. The higher your rank in society the better. Kings, nobles, and the clergy wore lots and lots of very expensive jewelry.
